Singer Meghan Trainor was recently a guest on the ABC game show Celebrity Family Feud, alongside her husband Daryl Sabara. During her appearance, Trainor gave a funny answer to one of the prompts that got a reaction out of host Steve Harvey.
Meghan Trainor Gives Funny Celebrity Family Feud Answer
During her appearance on Family Feud, host Steve Harvey asked Trainor to give him an example of “something your lover can put on you but no one else can.” Trainor appeared nervous as she responded, “A towel.”
Harvey asked her to repeat herself, after which she screeched, “I’m panicking!” The host asked Trainor, “What are you crying for?” She responded that she was “afraid.” Harvey then imitated Trainor’s nervous voice as she gave her answer.
“After my shower, my hubby gives me the towel,” Trainor explained. “‘Cause I always forget.”
The clip was posted on the @abcgameshows TikTok account, where it has received close to a million likes as of this writing. Some people in the comments expected her to say something inappropriate — like past guest Kristin Chenoweth.

Trainor appeared on Celebrity Family Feud last week with her husband Daryl Sabara, her best friend Chris Olsen, and her brothers Ryan and Justin. They were up against fellow singer Tori Kelly and her family. If you’re wondering which team ended up winning, it was the Kelly family.
You might also be interested to know if Trainor’s “towel” answer got her team any points. Unfortunately, “towel” wasn’t on the board as one of the most popular answers among polled audience members. The top answer was actually “hands/lips/bod,” which Kelly gave as a guess.
