Thorpe Reached Fourth Place on Britain’s Got Talent

Thorpe auditioned for Series 15 of Britain’s Got Talent with a stunning performance of “Caruso” by Luciano Pavarotti. He shared that he made money by busking, and that the London Palladium was the biggest audience he’d ever performed for.

Judge Alesha Dixon told Thorpe that the hairs on her arms stood up while he was singing, adding that the performance “felt romantic and powerful and meaningful.” Amanda Holden said she hopes he feels “more appreciated” for his talent, adding that he’s “better than standing on a pavement.”

Thorpe received four “yes” votes from the judges to move on. In the Semifinals, he performed the song “Now We Are Free” from Gladiator. Thorpe then made it to the Final, where he performed “Caruso” once again. He finished the competition in fourth place.
